Patricia (Tish) Dalton
Director for Asset Management Policy
Tish Dalton is the Director of the Asset Management Policy group within the Market Risk Policy Division at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
In this role, Ms. Dalton is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Asset Management (AM) Policy Group, which establishes OCC policy and identifies risks in the personal trust, investment management, employee benefit, bank collective fund, AM operations, corporate trust, and related areas. Ms. Dalton and her AM team of examiners and risk analysts issue guidance to OCC examiners and the industry, respond to inquiries, and advise senior management regarding AM issues and risks. She is a frequent speaker before industry groups focusing on current asset management topics and risks.
Prior to this role, Ms. Dalton was a Technical Expert in AM Policy and a Risk Specialist in Operational Risk Policy. Prior to joining the OCC, Ms. Dalton held a number of bank management positions overseeing various bank operations and asset management activities.
Ms. Dalton earned a bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of Virginia. She holds Certified Securities Operations Professional and Certified Fiduciary & Risk Management Specialist certifications.
